Mint Artists focuses on visual artists ages 14 to 21 from Detroit who are not yet in college full time. They may work in any medium from photography, fiber to jewelry and fine paintings.
Our artists attend many Detroit high schools. A few of the Learn and Earn artists have come from Ann Arbor, Ferndale Hamtramck, Shelby Township and St. Clair Shores.
Young artists are chosen based on their artistic abilities, work ethic, passion to pursue or investigate creative careers, respectful and professional attitudes -and their generosity and community service.
