Mint Artists are typically Detroit natives between the ages of 14-21, who are either in high school or attend university part time. They may work in any visual medium—from photography to jewelry and fine paintings. Program participants are selected based on their artistic abilities, work ethic, passion for their craft, and community involvement.

Trinity Brown, jewelry artist who attends University Preparatory High School & serves on Mint's board of directors
Jessica Fligger, ceramicist and painter, who attends Cass Technical High School
Prince Matthews, acrylic painter, who attends Cass Technical High School
Julie Journey Shamily, digital artist, who attends an online high school and serves as Mint's marketing intern
