Director of CAN Art & Design

The Director of CAN Art & Design is responsible for creating, implementing, and fostering art and design related curriculum across all of CAN’s educational programs. This includes but is not limited to: Direct the development, implementation, and Maintenace of art and design curricula at CAN; Develop, oversee, and implement summer camp thematic curricula; Develop, oversee yearlong thematic curricula through CAN A&D art sessions that occur once a week at each site; Build and maintain connections and creative opportunities for CAN students within the Washtenaw County greater community; Develop, oversee, build, and facilitate placemaking projects across all sites; Collaborate on CAN educational fundraising and grantwriting; Direct CAN A&D Program. Develop and convene an arts advisory council.
