This afternoon is for Detroit artists ages 14 to 21 who already have registered with GDYT and want to work in the Mint Creative Summer Jobs program. These are job interviews so come with a creative and professional mindset.
Artists, please bring along one piece of your work and a resume and a list of professional references (teachers, volunteer leaders, coaches count). Â Take time to prepare for the interview with these tips.
Parents or grandparents may join us, but are expected to stay in a waiting area and allow the youth to participate in the interview on their own.
Interviews will take about 20 minutes but youth and adults may need to wait for longer to be considered. Please be patient!
